Bidens is a magnificent summer plant which deserves much more attention. The plants grow quickly and bloom continuously with an abundance of lovely flowers. They are robust and easy-to-grow plants and have multiple uses: alone in small pots like stunning yellow spots, planted in large richly coloured combinations e.g. with other vigorously growing plants like petunia or pelargonium, or in garden beds. It will light up any situation as a yellow flash and bring a strike of gold to its surroundings.
Bidens grow best in full sun, but at the same time it is incredibly tolerant to rains and winds.
Water and feed regularly – apart from that bidens is totally maintenance free.
