A multitude of small yellow star flowers on tight, dark green foliage and a continuous, steady growth habit have made Sanvitalia one of the best new container plant in recent years. The plants are fairly compact with a semi-trailing habit and small, green, glossy leaves which are almost covered by the lovely, yellow flowers. The golden globes will brighten anywhere and make the summer last till late autumn. All our Sanvitalia varieties are ideal for hanging baskets, pots and window boxes. The varieties were bred by the Swiss plant breeder Hugo Dittmar who so doing has created some lovely plants for the summer garden – compact, floriferous and only requiring a minimum of care.
